Carpitella 101 | Ethnography, Musicology, Audiovisual Anthropology

One hundred and one years after the birth of Diego Carpitella (1924–1990), the University of Florence brings together Italian ethnomusicology to reflect on the many legacies of the scholar and to discuss the most up-to-date international research perspectives.

Forty-seven speakers across eight sessions over three days of reflections, dialogue, and concerts, in collaboration with Tempo Reale (www.temporeale.it) and with the support of the PIN Foundation – University of Florence, Prato Campus.
